COVID-19 Dealer Information
SsangYong Motor UK Ltd and its dealers are following government guidance with regard to dealership opening and advice. As of June 1st dealerships are now opening showrooms in England, many using appointment systems to manage customers in a safe and appropriate manner. We expect our dealerships in other parts of the United Kingdom to follow suit shortly when permitted by the national governments. The majority of our dealerships are now open for service and parts.
We would advise making an appointment before travelling to visit a dealership, who will be keen to help you with either sales or service.
To recognise that it may not be possible to have your vehicle maintained as required by the warranty conditions we have advised the following with regards to scheduled vehicle maintenance and its impact on the vehicle warranty cover. Any vehicle with scheduled maintenance whose owner may be affected by self-isolation or limitations on movement will not have their vehicle warranty jeopardised. The usual “period of grace” has been extended from 1 month or 1,000 miles to 2 months or 2,000 miles whichever comes first.
