The long awaited challenger to the Nissan Juke was revealed in Europe for the first time at the Geneva motor show, and now SsangYong has revealed prices for its Tivoli compact crossover vehicle. And true to their word about being competitive, the cheapest diesel derivative is priced at El 4,200 for the entry-level SE paired to a 113bhp 1.6-litre turbodiesel engine. Plusher EX and ELX models offer the opportunity to choose both four-wheel-drive and an automatic transmission, while all versions come with SsangYong's industry beating five-year limitless mileage warranty. Diesel versions arrive in showrooms in August, with each of them complying with the new Euro-6 emissions requirements. The My Tivoli personalisation option gives buyers the opportunity to customise their car with a couple of additional colour choices, five duo-tone colour roof combinations, as well as a red leather pack, and is the first time that SsangYong have given buyers this level of choice. All Tivoli models feature 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, seven airbags and a choice of different driving modes for the steering. EX models add leather upholstery, front fog lights, larger 18-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, a seven-inch touchscreen, reversing camera and dual-zone climate control, while top-spec ELX editions have TomTom satellite navigation, automatic headlights, a rain sensor, front and rear parking sensors, rear privacy glass, keyless start, and a rear spoiler. The most expensive version in the new Tivoli line-up is the ELX 4x4 automatic, which wears a price tag of £19,500.
