SsangYong joins Motability
SSANGYONG Korando SUV, Rexton W 4x4 and Turismo MPV are now available to those receiving the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance, the Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment and the War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement or the Armed Forces Independence Payment.
Available through SsangYong dealers participating in the Motability scheme, it will allow disabled motorists to lease a new SsangYong using their government-funded mobility allowance.
Paul Williams, CEO of SsangYong Motor UK, said: "Motability is an excellent scheme that has helped thousands of people get mobile.
"We are delighted that three of our cars — Korando, Rexton W and seven-seat Turismo are now available to disabled motorists.
“With prices starting from just £14,995 and backed by our five-year limitless mileage warranty, we are optimistic many more people will soon be driving a Korean-built SsangYong."
The Motability scheme has helped more than 3m people into a new vehicle, with benefits including insurance, servicing, maintenance and full breakdown assistance. Motability is the largest fleet in Europe, currently operating over 640,000 vehicles.
Regardless of which car is chosen, all Motability Scheme customers enjoy the same worry-free package including insurance, breakdown cover, servicing, tyres and wind-screen replacement.
