SSANGYONG GEARS-UP FOR SALES GROWTH WITH NEW APPOINTMENTS06-05-2015
Ahead of the arrival of the new Tivoli B-segment SUV, and with a rapidly expanding dealer network, SsangYong Motor UK has made a number of new appointments.

Good people are an essential part of this plan and we will be announcing further new appointments during the year.”
Dealer recruitment and franchising
Adrian Ryan, 52, who has been with SsangYong since 2005 as the dealer commercial manager for the Midlands, has been appointed to the role of dealer recruitment and franchising manager, and takes over from Jeff Lau who has taken retirement.
Dealer field appointments
Kevin Griffin, 56, has been appointed dealer commercial manager for the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. He joined the motor trade in 1979, and was general sales manager at Watson Bros (Vauxhall) for 12 years, dealer principal at Abercromby Edinburgh (Rover & Toyota) for eight years and dealer principal at Archer Motor Group (Seat, Hyundai, Suzuki, Chevrolet & SsangYong) for 16 years.
Andrew Cookson, 43, takes over from Adrian Ryan as dealer commercial manager for the Midlands. He joins with over 20 years motor retail, consultancy and development experience, including working for Colin Appleyard as brand manager for Subaru & Isuzu, and Monks Heath Motors as general manager for Subaru, Isuzu, Daihatsu, Morgan and SsangYong.
Meanwhile, Simon Whitby, 42, is now responsible for all aspects of the company’s used car sales and operations. He was previously sales manager with Grovebury Cars, Tring.
