Powered by a 2.2 litre Euro 6 diesel engine delivering excellent fuel economy and impressive 139g/km CO2 emissions, the new 178ps diesel engine and torque of 400Nm makes Korando one of the most powerful in its class. With the choice of two wheel drive or four wheel drive and a two tonne towing capacity, Korando offers the practicality of a 4x4/SUV, the accessibility of a family hatchback, and the capability to go from muddy campsite to urban school run.

The all-new Rexton, SsangYong’s flagship SUV 4x4, arrived in the UK last year, heralding major advances in style, quality, safety and technology for the brand, and has already been awarded ‘4x4 of the Year 2018’ by 4x4 Magazine.
Impressing with its sheer presence and beautifully balanced exterior, new Rexton is a large D/E-segment four-wheel drive that offers a prestige cabin for passengers to travel in supreme comfort, while disguising its tough and rugged off-road capability.
Representing a huge step forward in every area - looks and style, interior ambience, structure and safety, performance and technology, this new car stays true to SsangYong’s core brand values with extremely competitive pricing from £28,495 on the road.
The new car is an authentic 4x4. It is powered by a 2.2 litre turbo Euro 6 diesel engine delivering maximum power of 181PS and maximum torque of 420Nm, with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed Mercedes-Benz automatic transmission, and features a 3.5 tonne towing capacity, the benchmark for those who tow large caravans & trailers.
Stylish inside and out, the new car has gracious looks, and with a contemporary interior that’s trimmed in quilted Nappa leather. Built using a modern and extremely strong body-on-frame construction, it is extremely safe and comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of electronic safety aids, and up to nine airbags.
With the latest in connectivity and technology, new Rexton features Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto, an HD 9.2” navigation screen and 3D ‘around-view’ monitoring.
This fourth generation Rexton draws on SsangYong’s heritage and deep experience of building 4x4 vehicles over 60 years, and as well as its highly competitive pricing and comprehensive list of standard equipment, features an industry leading 7-year 150,000 mile warranty.
Offering family and business users a car to transport seven adults in comfort together with their luggage, the SsangYong Turismo is almost without rival.
Now this capacious seven-seater has received a substantial front-end facelift to bring it into line with other models in the SsangYong range. Complete with LED daytime running lights, the car sports an elegant and sophisticated front-look with greatly enhanced road presence.
The top-of-the-range Turismo ELX comes with selectable four-wheel drive, a 7-speed Mercedes-Benz automatic transmission, cruise control, parking sensors, rear seating privacy glass, 16” alloy wheels, roof rails, heated front seats, rain sensing wipers and automatic headlights. It also now includes a 7” smart infotainment system with reversing camera as standard.
At over 5 metres long and with a 3-metre wheelbase, Turismo is larger than a standard sized MPV people carrier, and features a powerful 2.2 litre diesel engine.
Thanks to its 3,000mm wheelbase, Turismo provides a huge interior space where seven adults can travel in supreme comfort with their luggage loaded in the back, and without having to compromise on passenger accommodation. There are three rows of seats as well as the large load area which can be further increased by removing the third row completely. This gives a massive load carrying capability of between 875 litres with seven adults seated, through to two adults and 3,146 litres of load space.
With its selectable 4x4 with low ratio, the Turismo ELX is a car you can rely on, no matter what the weather throws at you and is especially safe and practical when towing a caravan, horsebox or boat trailer, and has an impressive 2 tonne towing capacity.
The new Turismo utilises double wishbone front suspension and rear independent multi-link suspension for executive saloon style ride quality. This set-up offers a quiet and comfortable driving environment with firm body control, a flat ride and optimum stability regardless of the road conditions.
The new Turismo is on sale now, with prices ranging from £20,495 for the two-wheel drive EX, to £26,995 for the ELX with four-wheel drive, and is also available through Motability.
The all-new SsangYong Musso pick-up has now arrived in the UK and set to disrupt the fast-growing pick-up market with a tough, strong and value-for-money 4x4.
Built on the same architecture as the new Rexton - which has already been awarded ‘4x4 of the Year 2018’ by 4x4 Magazine - Musso shares its body-on-frame construction to give an extremely strong vehicle that delivers excellent off-road driving performance and safety from its quad-frame and four-wheel-drive system.
This new Musso - which is Korean for rhino - takes its strong, tough and powerful image from the brand’s heritage established over 60 years ago and from the original Musso of the 1990s.
As Korea’s leading and only SUV and 4x4 specialist manufacturer, SsangYong is committed to refreshing its entire product portfolio, and Musso is the latest new model to come from the brand in a programme of new introductions stretching into the 2020s.
The new Musso is an extremely competent multi-purpose truck with SsangYong values to the core - comprehensively equipped, a sector leading 7-year/150,000 mile warranty with a value for money package, plus a surprising level of interior refinement and great infotainment.
Designed to carry passengers in comfort and transport loads securely, the SUV-based Musso combines a five-seat crew-cab body style with a workman-like load deck that will take a full-sized Euro pallet. It also carries a payload of over 1-tonne and tows trailers of up to 3.5 tonnes concurrently to give the highest total load capacity in the segment. This combination of utility pick-up and SUV means Musso offers the perfect blend of functionality, practicality, performance and comfort to the driver and family or workmates.
Musso is powered by the same e-XDi220 engine found in the Rexton, and delivers a maximum power of 181ps at 4,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 400Nm at 1,600 to 2,600 rpm. It is available with either a 6-speed manual or an Aisin 6-speed automatic with its success proven by SsangYong and several other automotive brands.
Inside, Musso is exceptionally well equipped compared with other pick-ups, and as well as offering excellent shoulder and leg room front and rear, Nappa leather seats can be found on the top of the range model for added luxury and comfort. DAB radio and Bluetooth connectivity feature across the range, while all but the entry level model feature a state-of-the-art infotainment system that includes an 8-inch screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Wi-fi mirroring, or 9.2-inch screen with TomTom navigation on top line models.
New 7-year/150,000 mile warranty
One of the toughest pick-ups on the market, SsangYong is backing its faith in the new Musso by introducing a sector-leading 7-year/150,000 mile warranty which will also apply to Rexton on which Musso is based. No other pick-up or SUV comes with such comprehensive reassurance, and without the small-print of so many other manufacturer warranties.
